Caterpillar Visitor Center

Caterpillar Visitor Center is a 3-story structural steel building enclosed with a metal roof and siding as well as an aluminum curtain wall system. Designed to celebrate Caterpillar’s heritage, products and services while showcasing the work their customers do every day around the world, which makes sustainable progress possible. Building is LEED Gold Certified. Sustainable efforts include collecting and reusing rainwater for irrigation; energy-efficient mechanical and electrical systems; solar panels on adjacent Caterpillar parking deck to supply power to the Visitor Center; and a combined heat and power system to supply power to the Visitor Center and Caterpillar World Headquarters.
