“I’m excited about the incredible career opportunities in the construction industry, inviting others to unleash their inner builders, embark on exciting journeys, and leave an indelible mark on the world.”
As President of River City Construction, Leanne is responsible for all aspects of the business. But more importantly, she is responsible for serving the people and the teams that drive the success for clients, trade partners, affiliates, communities, and ultimately, the organization. Leanne is a champion of River City Construction’s purpose to create environments that enable people – internal teams, clients, trade partners and communities — to do extraordinary things in work and life.
Leanne’s leadership initiatives include ensuring diverse, equitable and inclusive opportunities exist for individuals that want to join the team and companies that want to partner with River City Construction. Additionally, Leanne serves as the President of the River City Construction Foundation, an employee led organization that focuses on stewardship and philanthropic investments in the communities RCC serves.
Prior to her role as President, Leanne served as the Vice President of Pre-Construction Services. In this capacity, Leanne was responsible for business development, including fostering and maintaining client relations, design firm partnerships and trade partners. She was also responsible for aligning clients’ goals and project scope with their budgets, project timelines and sequences, and progressing their visions to shovel ready projects.
Leanne doesn’t just demonstrate River City Construction’s core values at work. In her personal life, she is committed to giving back to the community through her involvement in various organizations that support the health, education, and wellness of people.
Leanne has received numerous awards for her commitment to both her work and her community, including being named a Top Young Professional by ENR Midwest Magazine, a Woman of Influence by Peoria Magazine, and a 40 Under 40 award recipient.
When Leanne isn’t working or giving back to her community, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son, reading and anything involving the outdoors! Her outdoor hobbies include exploring, hiking, biking, swimming, and gardening.
