Josh Sanders

As the Executive Vice President of New Work & Pursuits, Josh leads the collective New Work & Pursuits team. This team is responsible for delivering comprehensive preconstruction services offered by River City Construction, whether that’s in a competitive bid environment or through alternative delivery models. In alignment with River City Construction’s Core Values (Integrity, Excellence, Relationships, and Innovation), Josh fosters and develops relationships with clients, design firms and trade partners, who are all critical to the company’s success.

Josh works to create an environment for his team to develop innovative concepts and implement technology that will take the New Work & Pursuits team to the next level. Josh is a firm believer of putting employees first. As a leader, he takes responsibility to ensure that employees can find a work/life balance and have the resources and support they need to work efficiently. He finds great joy seeing his team members succeed professionally and personally.

Prior to his role as the Executive Vice President of New Work & Pursuits, Josh served as the Estimating Director for River City Construction. His responsibilities included managing and leading all aspects of the competitive bid process, including complex quantity takeoff for self-perform scopes of work, and maintaining a comprehensive database of past project costs and labor productions. He has a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management.

When Josh isn’t working, you can find him hunting, fishing, training and spending time with his wife and three girls.
